Major Security Upgrade at Riverbend Park

At Datawise Solutions, we take pride in helping local communities stay safe and connected. Our latest project brought us outdoors to one of Winston’s most beloved public spaces—Riverbend Park. Spanning 18 acres, this park is a hub for recreation, events, and everyday enjoyment. But outdated security technology was limiting the city’s ability to monitor and protect the area effectively.

Upgrading Outdoor Security, the Smart Way

The existing setup at Riverbend Park included just four aging cameras with limited visibility and no wireless capabilities. To bring this system into the modern era, we:

🛠️ Removed all outdated cameras
📶 Designed and installed a robust wireless surveillance system
📸 Deployed 25 new high-definition cameras across the entire park
🏞️ Achieved full coverage of park buildings, fields, and open spaces
⚡ Enabled real-time access and remote management for city staff

A New Standard for Public Safety

The new wireless system not only ensures high-quality video coverage but also gives the City of Winston the flexibility to expand or relocate cameras as the park evolves. With full visibility across 18 acres, staff can now monitor activity in real-time and respond quickly to incidents—helping protect families, facilities, and the community at large.
